  • Oversee preparation of outstanding annual statutory financial statements in accordance with local
  • GAAP and internal policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and coordinate with external auditors and advisors
  • Drive process changes for consistency and improvements in internal controls
  • Partner with local teams to ensure buy-in for repeatable outcomes and velocity of future filings
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes and internal controls
  • across the region, including centralization in a Center of Excellence
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of junior and senior accountants, and foster a culture of
  • collaboration, accountability and excellence
Our requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
  • 15+ years of proven experience in accounting and finance with progressive responsibility, preferably
  • in a multinational company
  • Strong knowledge and experience with regulatory statutory compliance
  • Management experience with demonstrated leadership in driving outcomes within a team
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities and
  • deadlines
  • Experience with Workiva for Global Statutory Reporting a plus
  • Fluent in English, and preferably another European language
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region
  • Extensive experience with statutory financial statements across EMEA (in particular Northern
  • Europe)
  • Driven self-starter with strong self-responsibility and ability to operate autonomously
  • Creative and resourceful thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Possesses strong character and integrity, values respect, and accountability
  • Has a mindset of continuous improvement and process-oriented controls mindset
  • Hands-on operator who can prioritize tasks
