Data Engineer (focus on dbt)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in dbt to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SQL, data warehousing, and ELT processes, with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain data models that power business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy dbt models to support data transformation and analytics needs.
Design and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
Work with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Databricks, Redshift) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve data modeling standards and best practices.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across all data products.
Qualifications:
Proven hands-on experience with dbt, including model development, testing, and deployment.
Strong SQL proficiency and experience with at least one major data warehousing solution (Databricks, Redshift, or similar).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ELT processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
