Supplier Quality Engineer Electrics
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer, who would join our team based in Jelenia Góra and take care of management of all supplier-related activities.
Key responsibilities:
⮚ Act as an internal and external contact within your own specialist area
⮚ Manage supplier audits (e.g. process audit VDA 6.3, potential analysis, defect part analysis field (audit), process inspections, definition of measures, action followups, effectiveness check and ensuring their documentation in relevant systems
⮚ Manage supplier development programs, define target systems and multi-steps with suppliers and observe supplier development based on agreed targets
⮚ Support strategic supplier selection processes by conducting initial supplier visits and supplier evaluations from a qualitative point of view as a basis for sourcing processes and cooperation in the sourcing process
⮚ Manage quality escalations and perform supplier evaluation
⮚ Support of launches, manage launch readiness reviews on-site including tracking of measures up to the transfer to series project
Candidate profile:
⮚ Technical University degree or comparable job experience in Quality
⮚ At least 3 years of experience in the automotive, ideally experience on supplier management, quality tools and norms (VDA, APQP, R@R, 8D)
⮚ Experience with electric components
⮚ Certified Auditor with Auditor-Card
⮚ Fluent English, additional communicative German is a plus
⮚ Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and analytical skills combined with ability to negotiate in high pressure environment
⮚ Flexibility and willingness to business trips
⮚ Fluent use of MS Office
