SAP MDG Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP MDG Consultant to join our team and provide expertise in implementing and configuring SAP Master Data Governance solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, handle configurations, and guide teams to deliver efficient and effective solutions within the MDG framework.

Responsibilities

• Configure SAP MDG across specific domains, ensuring functionality aligns with project goals

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand and address business requirements

• Create detailed requirements and deliverables for the development team based on client input

• Configure MDG Data Modeling, UI Modelling, and Processing Modelling

• Drive rule-based workflow configuration using MDG capabilities

• Utilize expertise in SAP MDM and SAP MDG processes to guide end users on standard features

• Manage data transfer via DIF/DEF and utilize the Data Replication Framework (DRF)

• Implement Business Rules Framework plus (BRFplus) for derivation and validation in MDG S4HANA

• Support data migration activities and provide actionable solutions for seamless transitions

• Ensure proper setup and management of MDG Roles and Authorizations

• Contribute to Central Finance (CFIN) project implementations, ensuring integration with MDG

Requirements

• Expertise in SAP MDM functionality and SAP S4 MDG Solution for Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance master data

• Deep understanding of MDG EhP6 and MDG versions 7.0/8.0, preferably SAP MDG on S/4 HANA

• Proficiency in Data Transfer, DRF, and BRFplus functionalities

• Qualifications in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modelling, and Workflow Configurations

• Hands-on experience in at least one full implementation of SAP MDG as a functional consultant

• Background in data migration projects and CFIN implementations

• Familiarity with MDG Roles, Authorizations, and their effective configuration

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MDG Utopia for Fashion and Retail applications

• Familiarity with SAP P2P, Logistics, or Retail processes
