You will be guiding a cross-functional team in designing and maintaining secure, scalable applications and services, while ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business needs. The role involves driving innovation by reducing complexity through modern integration approaches, mentoring engineers, and fostering DevOps practices to support both cloud and on-premises deployments. This is an opportunity to shape critical payment solutions used worldwide.Your main responsibilities:Owning the technical delivery of development projectsLeading and mentoring team members to ensure high performanceCommunicating progress and challenges on behalf of the development teamBuilding and supporting services, microservices, and applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Seeburger BISDesigning integration solutions using APIs, MuleSoft, Kafka, and microservices patternsImplementing automated testing frameworks to reduce testing costsManaging payment services portfolios on both cloud and on-premises hostingSupporting and maintaining service-related interfaces through APIs and orchestration layersApplying Agile and DevOps methodologies with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and MavenCollaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate requirements into sprint deliverablesYou're ideal for this role if you have:Strong expertise in Java 17+Solid knowledge of Spring and Spring BootExperience building RESTful APIsFamiliarity with database technologies, especially OracleHands-on experience with microservices and associated patternsStrong understanding of DevOps principlesExperience working with ETL solutionsKnowledge of HTTP web technologies and JavaScriptAbility to manage code releases using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and MavenExperience collaborating in Agile teams with business stakeholdersIt is a strong plus if you have:Experience with ReactJSKnowledge of MQ technologiesFamiliarity with Postgres databasesCybersecurity awarenessExperience with Seeburger BIS (ETL)We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
