As an MDM Specialist, you’ll join a network of practitioners who understand that high-quality master data is a foundation for everything else—reporting, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and AI.This role sits at the centre of how critical entities are defined, managed, and shared across systems. You’ll help design and implement MDM solutions—processes, models, and platforms—that synchronise records across source systems, enforce business rules, and provide a single, controlled source of truth.What you'll be doingAs a Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist at Calimala, you’ll lead and support engagements where master data is a bottleneck or a key enabler. One project might involve standing up a new MDM hub for customer or product data; another could focus on improving matching, survivorship rules, and integration patterns in an existing solution.“We treat master data as shared infrastructure: clearly defined, actively managed, and built so every consuming system can trust what it receives.”You’ll work closely with business owners, data governance teams, architects, and integration specialists to understand how master data is used and where inconsistencies hurt most. You’ll help define data models, matching and merging rules, validation logic, and operating procedures—ensuring that MDM processes are embedded in day-to-day operations, not just in documentation.Who we're looking forYou’re comfortable at the intersection of business definition and technical implementation. You can talk to stakeholders about what a “customer” or “product” should mean, translate that into models and rules, and work with platform and integration teams to make it real.You’ve likely worked in data management, MDM, or large system integration programs where shared reference and master data were central.
