Test Automation Lead / Test ArchitectMiejsce pracy: WarszawaTechnologies we useExpectedJavaTypeScriptRestAssuredOptionalAWSAbout the projectJit Team is looking for an experienced Test Automation Lead / Test Architect to define and implement the quality strategy for a new greenfield product developed by our client — a leading provider of BIM/CDE solutions used in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.The product includes both a web platform and a mobile application (React Native) used by field inspectors to validate construction elements, take photos, verify compliance, report issues, and synchronise data with the main collaboration system.You will introduce a robust testing strategy from day one, define test architecture across backend, web and mobile, build automation foundations, and create a comprehensive regression suite.Your responsibilitiesDefine the overall test strategy across web, mobile and backend layers.Build and own the automation framework for API, integration, and end-to-end/UI testing.Shape the long-term approach to mobile testing, including exploratory testing and defining future automation needs.Ensure that testing for the mobile application is considered appropriately within the test strategy.Create and maintain a strong regression suite for evolving web and mobile functionality.Decide what tests belong on which layer (API vs integration vs E2E/UI vs mobile).Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).Ensure engineering teams follow practices that promote testability, robustness and early defect prevention.Conduct manual exploratory testing where needed, especially for mobile field use cases.Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure clear acceptance criteria and early risk identification.Coach developers and testers on modern quality engineering practices.Our requirements5+ years of professional experience in test automation.Proven experience designing test architecture for new or evolving products.Strong understanding of test layering (API, integration, E2E, contract, mobile).Solid programming skills in Java, TypeScript or similar languages.Hands-on experience with:API automation using frameworks such as RestAssured (Java), for example)UI/E2E automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO or similar)CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)Cloud-native applications (AWS is a plus)Experience in testing mobile applications or readiness to expand into mobile testing as required by the project.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in distributed teams.A mindset focused on building long-term quality foundations and preventing defects early.Development opportunities we offerassistance in preparation to public speechesconferences abroadconferences in Polanddevelopment budgetexternal trainingintracompany trainingmentoringsoft skills trainingsubstantive support from technological leaderssupport of IT eventstechnical knowledge exchange within the companyWhat we offerWhy choose this offer?
