About the Role


We are looking for a DevOps Lead to guide and grow our cloud infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering. In this role, you will:


  • Give technical leadership and set DevOps strategy.

  • Mentor engineers while staying hands-on with infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability.

  • Work with product, engineering, and operations to build reliable, scalable, and efficient systems across several cloud providers.


Responsibilities


Leadership & Strategy


  • Define and lead the DevOps and SRE roadmap in line with business goals.

  • Mentor DevOps engineers on automation, CI/CD, and monitoring.

  • Set and enforce standards for cloud operations, security, and costs.


Infrastructure & Cloud


  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for AWS, GCP, and Azure.

  • Design multi-cloud strategies for better availability and resilience.

  • Lead containerization with Docker, Helm, ECS, and Kubernetes.


Release & Deployment


  • Own CI/CD pipeline design with AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools.

  • Add release approvals, governance, and rollback plans for important deployments.

  • Reduce deployment time, risk, and downtime with engineering teams.


Observability & Reliability


  • Lead monitoring setup with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Elastic, etc.

  • Define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs with product and engineering leaders.

  • Build frameworks for site reliability, including on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.


Collaboration & Culture


  • Work with developers and architects to add DevOps best practices into workflows.

  • Promote a culture of automation, reliability, and improvement.

  • Share DevOps goals, system health, and metrics with leadership.


Qualifications


  • Experience leading DevOps or SRE teams with reliable results.

  • Strong skills in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Multi-cloud knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure) with focus on resilience and cost control.

  • Advanced experience with Docker, Helm, ECS (Kubernetes is a big plus).

  • Strong CI/CD design skills (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic).

  • Knowledge of SRE practices: error budgets, incident response, postmortems.

  • Good scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.


Pluses


  • Experience growing DevOps teams and choosing tools/vendors.

  • Kubernetes leadership (EKS, GKE, AKS).

  • Background in security automation, compliance, and governance.

  • Experience in fast-growing or multi-cloud companies.
