We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join an international company from renewable energy sector in Warsaw.

As a key member of accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operation.


Main responsibilities:


  • Full accounting of companies according to Polish GAAP and IFRS

  • Cooperation with Chief Accountant

  • Managing of Junior Specialist Team

  • Transferring books from accounting office

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports

  • Collaborate with external auditors and financial and tax institutions

  • Ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations and reporting reductions

  • Cooperation with stakeholders, including banks


Requirements:


  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience on Independent or Senior Accountant position

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Polish accounting standards

  • Practical knowledge of accounting software

  • Familiarity of Polish tax regulations and reporting requirements

  • Fluency in Polish and English


The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a role as an Independent or Senior accountant, preferably within the renewable energy or real estate sectors.

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of both Polish GAAP and IFRS, who is confident in using Microsoft Dynamics 365. A problem-solver by nature, this person should be able to set priorities effectively, work independently, and handle complex accounting tasks with ease.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams are essential for this role.
