What will you do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated UI tests using XCUITest and Xcode test plans.

  • Expand test coverage by automating key regression scenarios from existing manual test cases.

  • Participate in test strategy planning, risk analysis, and release quality assessments.

  • Investigate and report test failures, including root cause analysis with developers.

  • Monitor CI jobs, improve test reliability, and reduce test runtime.


About you:

  • Solid experience with UI automation for macOS or iOS apps (preferably using XCUITest)

  • Strong understanding of XCTest framework and test lifecycle

  • Proficiency in Swift for test automation

  • Experience writing stable and maintainable UI tests with the page object pattern

  • Good grasp of software testing principles (regression, exploratory, smoke, etc.)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins)

  • Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows

  • Good communication skills

  • Proactive mindset and ownership attitude toward quality


Would be a plus:

  • Experience testing macOS-specific scenarios, e.g., system permissions, keyboard shortcuts, drag-and-drop

  • Basic scripting experience using the macOS Terminal

  • Experience with manual testing of desktop apps

  • Understanding of Apple Developer ecosystem (certificates, provisioning profiles, etc.)
