About the project

Our client is a top-tier proprietary trading firm known for building its own trading technology from the ground up. Their in-house engineering team designs and maintains high-performance Windows desktop applications that traders rely on daily.

As a Tech Lead, you’ll combine technical depth with hands-on coding and architectural decision-making to ensure scalability, performance, and an exceptional user experience.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of Windows Forms applications for real-time trading.
  • Build and maintain custom controls for high-frequency data visualization (charts, grids, multi-window UIs).
  • Drive performance optimization initiatives, ensuring low latency and responsiveness.
  • Mentor and support team members through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical coaching.
  • Collaborate directly with traders and backend engineers to deliver business-critical features.
  • Work with source control and support transition plans (e.g., SVN to Git).
Our requirements
  • 8+ years of professional C#/.NET experience, including Windows Forms and custom control development.
  • Deep understanding of multi-threaded, low-latency UI design.
  • Experience with real-time data visualization (charts, grids, multi-window apps).
  • Comfortable with SVN, TCP/IP, and Windows desktop optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and socket-based communication with C++ backend systems.
  • Excellent debugging, profiling, and refactoring skills.
  • Experience leading or mentoring developers in an agile, fast-moving environment.
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1 level) to effectively collaborate in an international team.
Optional
  • Prior exposure to trading systems or market data environments.
  • Familiarity with Figma-based UI collaboration and C++ interoperability.
