YOUR MISSION:

As a Senior Copywriter in the Marketing team your mission will be to create and guide the creation of exceptional pieces of content that raise the bar for the entire Venue Booking industry. While supporting our SEO goals, you will deeply understand our users and create material that solves their problems and helps them on the path to find the perfect venue for the event of a lifetime. As a mentor and editor to more junior Copywriters in the team, you will set an example, provide constructive feedback, and guide other writers to do the best work of their career alongside you.

YOUR ROLE

• Writing engaging and well-researched blog content that provides significant value to our users and contributes to our SEO goals
• Spearheading signature content initiatives and authoring prestige pieces such as white papers and in-depth guides
• Participating in content brainstorming and research and helping develop a content pipeline consistent with our strategy and goals
• Assessing, analyzing and updating high-value content items
• Assisting in owning the editorial calendar and ensuring a regular output of high-quality content
• Editing and approving work of Copywriters, mentoring more junior writers with specific and constructive feedback and ensuring a consistent standard of quality for all content we publish

MUST HAVES

• At least 3 years experience in (English language) content roles, including freelancer, agency or in-house copywriter/content roles
• Exceptional, native-level written English and phenomenal communication skills
• Ability to edit content and provide clear, meaningful and constructive feedback to writers
• Able to understand business requirements, deep empathy for consumer, data-informed
• Highly organized, punctual and deadline-driven
• Creative, driven, curious, highly motivated and passionate about writing and storytelling.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in and familiarity with our core markets including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, or Singapore.
