We’re looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team and work on projects for clients from the insurance and technology sectors in Scandinavia. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international environment, taking on a technical leadership role — mentoring mid-level and junior developers, enforcing best coding practices, and driving software development processes.


Requirements


  • 6–12 years of experience as a software Guidewire developer

  • Strong commercial experience with Guidewire, especially PolicyCenter, or ClaimCenter or BillingCenter

  • Proficiency in Java and/or Guidewire

  • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL

  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and CI/CD workflows

  • Fluent English – essential for working in international teams

  • Openness to occasional travel

  • Availability to work full-time


Responsibilities


  • Implement and configure Guidewire modules, primarily PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter or BillingCenter

  • Review and write code (Java/Gosu), ensure test coverage and code quality.

  • Integrate Guidewire with external systems

  • Lead DevOps processes, CI/CD automation, and best engineering practices

  • Support recruitment efforts for technical team members

  • Participate in occasional business trips (once per quarter)
