Product Data Analyst

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Data Analyst whose work will directly shape our product direction in partnership with Business and UX stakeholders. You’ll act as a data-driven advocate by analyzing, drawing conclusions, and identifying solutions that fuel product development.

This is the only Product Data Analyst role in the organization, which means you’ll have full ownership of the product analytics function. Our company brings together around 180 people, including approximately a 25-person product and engineering team dedicated to continuously improving the platform. You’ll report directly to our Senior Product Designer Team Lead delivering clear, actionable insights that directly influence product decisions.

How you will spend your time:

As a Data Analyst at edrone, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to our mission of providing seamless eCommerce solutions. Your role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Be the Driving Force Behind Analytics. Your role goes beyond delivering reports — it’s about creating real business value. You will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights that empower Team Leaders and C-level executives to make smarter decisions. By leading and facilitating all analytical initiatives across the company, you will become the catalyst for a data-driven culture and ensure analytics is a core driver of growth and innovation.

• Learn the Product: Immerse yourself in the features, user experiences, and underlying technology of our product. This comprehensive understanding is key to identifying data-driven opportunities for improvement and innovation.

• Data Visualization and Reporting: Create impactful and insightful data visualizations using Tableau. Tailor reports and dashboards to meet the specific needs of business stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making. Ensure visualizations are user-friendly, interactive, and accurately represent the underlying data.

• Python and ETL Scripting: Apply Python programming skills to enhance data analytics and ETL processes. Develop Python scripts for automating data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks.

Who you are:

• Experience in a similar role (5+ years)

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and database management.

• Experience in BI tools, preferably Tableau

• Good knowledge of dbt

• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

• Experience in creating Dashboards, Visualizations and ad-hoc reports

• English level at least B2

  
  

It’s nice if you have:

• Experience with creating/maintaining ETL

• Knowledge of AWS tools (Athena, S3, RDS, Redshift)

How does the recruitment process look like:

1. A 30-minute online interview with the People and Culture Partner - Milena Micor, where we aim to get to know you a little better

2. An online interview with the Data Team Lead - Krystian Andruszek and Senior Product Designer/ Team Lead - Olaf Otrząsek.

3. Technical Interview with Data Team Lead - Krystian Andruszek and another panelist.

4. Decision regarding the offer and welcome on board
