CommerceTools Developer

We are looking for an experienced CommerceTools Developer to join our eCommerce / Digital Customer Experience Competency Center. You will have the opportunity to build scalable headless commerce solutions focusing on innovative platforms for international clients.

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain CommerceTools-based backend services using Java / Spring Boot

• Extend CommerceTools functionalities through custom extensions, webhooks, and event-driven services

• Implement scalable APIs and microservices to integrate CommerceTools with other systems

• Optimize backend communication via GraphQL and REST APIs, ensuring high performance and security

• Ensure robust system architecture with a focus on scalability, high-performance, and maintainability

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for Java-based microservices

• Promote best engineering practices: code reviews, unit/integration testing automated testing, documentation, and monitoring

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing Java-based applications, preferably in eCommerce domain

• Strong hands-on experience with CommerceTools (APIs, Merchant Center, product and catalog modeling)

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven patterns, and serverless solutions

• Proven track record in headless commerce or composable commerce projects

• Experience with GraphQL and REST API development and integrations

• Proficiency in SQL & NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have

• CommerceTools certifications or previous enterprise-level implementations

• Experience with other eCommerce platforms
