Senior Full Stack Developer | Wrocław

Join EPAM as a Full Stack Developer (Java + React) and work on a project with a global service and consulting company that provides strategic, tactical, and operational procurement solutions for clients around the world. This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to work three days a week from our Kraków or Wroclaw offices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for procurement and finance domains

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, integrating with Bank systems

• Implement and optimize backend services using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies

• Develop and maintain web interfaces using React, AngularJS, and modern UI/UX frameworks

• Ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit), code reviews, and continuous integration (Jenkins, GitLab)

• Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Integrate and manage data across SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure Cosmos, Sybase)

• Utilize messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, JMS) for real-time data processing

• Collaborate using Jira, Confluence, and Slack for agile project management

• Support finance-specific modules such as Clearing Middle Office, Financing Client Configuration, and Collateral domain (XCOLL, GCMM)

• Apply best practices in security, scalability, and performance optimization

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in finance or procurement domains

• Strong expertise in Java Full Stack, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and code quality tools (Sonar, IntelliJ IDEA)

• Solid understanding of web technologies: React, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience working in agile environments (Jira, Confluence, Slack)

Nice to have

• Experience with finance-specific domains: Clearing Middle Office, Financing Client Configuration, Collateral (XCOLL, GCMM)

• Knowledge of Agentic AI, LangChain4J, Azure Cosmos, Sybase

• Exposure to Elasticsearch, Postman for API testing and search solutions

• UI/UX design experience for web applications

• Prior experience working with or for large financial institutions

• Knowledge of Angular

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, JMS)

• Knowledge of Maven
