Senior UX UI Designer

We’re looking for someone with passion and expertise to help us shape the future of our Cloud Video Kit product, making video processing and distribution easy for our clients by implementing modern and cohesive User Experience and User Interface design.

We’re starting a collaboration with an independent, proactive person who will gradually develop a deep understanding of our Cloud Video Kit product inside and out. That said, knowledge-sharing is in our DNA at Big Blue Marble, so you can count on plenty of support from your teammates.

At BBM, we look at video holistically - we don’t just build platforms, we build the entire ecosystem around them. From creating complete OTT streaming solutions (think Netflix-style platforms), through products that protect content and users, to providing support, maintenance, and migration services - we cover the full video journey.

In this role, you’d focus on two key parts of that ecosystem:

- Cloud Video Kit - our flexible, cloud-based platform that handles video processing, encoding, and delivery, making it easy for clients to manage their streaming workflows.

- Cloud DRM - our video protection solution that ensures content security and license management across multiple devices and regions.

Together, these products help our partners deliver top-quality, secure, and seamless video experiences to their audiences worldwide.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with developers, testers, sales teams, product owners, and project managers,

• Gathering and documenting UX requirements and functional specifications for product features,

• Leading workshops with both developers and clients to refine product features.

• Conducting research, user testing, and usability studies,

• Designing Cloud Video Kit console features with a stronger focus on UX (60%) complemented by UI (40%),

• Designing and maintaining Design System for our admin products (including Cloud Video Kit)

• Performing visual/UI testing.

  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role,

• Strong proficiency in Figma,

• Experience designing web applications,

• Ability to independently and individually manage design projects,

• Good time management and organizational skills,

• Experience working with implementation teams (developers, testers, tech writers etc.),

• A portfolio showcasing your UX/UI design skills,

• Experience with designing and implementing Design Systems

• Fluent English - we maintain our documentation and communicate in English.

  
  

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence,

• Knowledge of video distribution and processing concepts.

• Experience with designing interfaces for technically complicated SaaS products.

Recruitment Process:

1. Interview with People Operations Specialist - to get to know you better, check your English skills, understand your professional experience, and hear what motivates you to join our team.

2. Interview with Chapter Leader, Senior UI Designer, Head of Business Unit and People Operations Specialist - A 90-minutes online meeting, a chance to get to know each other better, dive deeper into your technical expertise, and understand how you collaborate within a team and approach project work.
