The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain a secure, enterprise-grade CI/CD solution, aligned with the proposed architecture, integrating source control, artifact management, automated testing, security controls, and deployment workflows.This role is hands-on and requires both engineering execution and collaborative problem-solving across infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams.Your responsibilities would be to:Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for multiple environments (dev, test, staging, production).Collaborate with platform, network, security, and application teams to implement the target CI/CD architecture, including:Secure Jenkins controllers and agentsIntegration with Git-based source control systemsArtifact management using JFrog ArtifactoryContainerized build and delivery workflows using PodmanImplement pipeline-as-code using Jenkinsfiles and shared libraries.Enhance and maintain CIS Level 1 (CIS1) hardening across CI/CD building blocks, including:RHEL-based systemsKVM virtualization environmentsManage and troubleshoot Linux-based build and runtime environments, including system configuration, patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.Integrate CI/CD workflows with:Issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira)Artifact promotion and versioning processesMonitoring and security toolingApply networking best practices within CI/CD and platform environments, including:VLANs, routing, and firewall rulesProxies and DMZ-based architecturesSecure service-to-service communicationImplement access controls, secrets management, and network segmentation aligned with enterprise security policies.Support regression testing, quality gates, and approval workflows prior to deployment.Monitor pipeline health, improve reliability, and optimize build performance.Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance evidence.
