Power BI Developer Business Analyst

ResponsibilitiesGather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and ongoing communication. Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Develop Power BI reports and dashboards based on documented requirements. Create and maintain Power Query transformations for data preparation and cleansing. Implement row-level security (RLS) based on business access requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), collect feedback, and manage iterative improvements. Bridge communication between business stakeholders and the technical development team. Maintain documentation including process flows, data dictionaries, and report specifications. Support report deployment, workspace management, and scheduled refresh configuration in Power BI Service. We have networking events, coding challenges, and company parties for different occasions.QualificationsYou have a university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or similar field.Proven development experience using Power BI Desktop, Databricks, DAX-Code, Power Query M.Solid DAX fundamentals: measures, calculated columns, basic time intelligence.Report and dashboard design with focus on usability and visual best practices.Ability to elicit requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.Documenting functional and non-functional requirements.Creating user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.Open to working in a hybrid mode – one day per month at the office in Katowice or in Kraków.
