Ignite strategic IT governance - elevate service management in the insurance industryWarsaw-based opportunity with hybrid model (1 x week in the office)As a IT Governance and Service Management Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading European insurance group undergoing a significant transformation of its IT services. You will join a key team responsible for maturing the IT operational framework, balancing the establishment of robust, long-term governance with practical, high-availability service delivery. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that IT processes are compliant, secure, resilient, and efficient-directly supporting the stability and strategic goals of the business by managing policies and operational challenges.Your main responsibilities:Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT Governance standards and policiesMonitoring compliance of IT processes with internal regulations and audit requirementsCoordinating internal and external audits and the implementation of recommendationsSupporting IT risk management and business continuity (BCM) activitiesOverseeing the effectiveness of Incident Management and Problem Management processesActively managing and coordinating Major Incidents to minimize business impactConducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical problemsIdentifying trends and implementing continual service improvementsWorking closely with technical and business teams to ensure service stabilityYou're ideal for this role if you have:Proven experience in IT Governance, including policies, standards, risk, and auditPractical, documented experience in Incident and Problem ManagementExcellent knowledge of the ITIL framework (v3 or v4)Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to draw accurate conclusionsGreat organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate teams under pressureA proactive, independent, and problem-solving mindsetA good command of English (minimum B2)Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, CGEIT)We offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in various, innovative, and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
