We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer experienced in Generative AI and Azure to join our client, a global leader in banking, investment banking, and financial services.


As part of the AI platform team, you will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts to process large-scale datasets for diverse use cases. You will work on both traditional machine learning models and cutting-edge generative AI technologies. The team is expanding rapidly in chatbot and agent development, adopting cloud-native and technologically advanced solutions.


This role follows a flex-hybrid work model, with 3 days in-office at the Wroclaw location.


Responsibilities

  • Develop Python applications tailored to business and technical specifications

  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement innovative software solutions

  • Leverage Azure services to create scalable and efficient systems

  • Apply event-based design patterns to enhance application performance

  • Incorporate RAG architecture principles into project development

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code to meet high-performance standards

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices


Requirements

  • Expertise in Python programming with proven hands-on experience

  • Background in Generative AI and LLMs development

  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-related technologies

  • Proficiency in event-based design patterns

  • Knowledge of RAG architecture fundamentals

  • Strong problem-solving aptitude coupled with attention to detail

  • Effective communication and collaboration capabilities

Nice to have

  • Background in financial services industry projects

  • Certification in Azure or other cloud platforms

  • Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
