Role and Responsibilities

  • Identification and specification of test cases
  • Implementation of automated tests
  • Execution of regression tests and report preparation
  • Testing new releases/features
  • Verification of reported issues
  • Support for maintaining technical documentation


Technologies in use

  • Java 17
  • REST API


Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3-4 years of commercial experience in software testing
  • Either hands on experience of test automation using Java and test frameworks
  • Backend testing skills: API testing (RESTful), database (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns and Clean Code rules
  • Proficiency in English, enough to communicate and understand technical documentation
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (ability to work in a team)


Nice to have

  • ISTQB FL certification
  • Experience with mobile testing
  • Experience with Postman / Swagger
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Docker
  • Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging (e.g. Apache Kafka)
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. Python)
  • Experience with Agile development practices
  • University degree in Computer Sciences, Telecommunication or similar
