As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software solutions using modern Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure code quality through best practices and testing. This role is ideal for someone with deep Java expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions using Java technologies.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to understand requirements and deliver impactful features.

  • Contribute to system architecture and design decisions, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following industry standards and internal guidelines.

  • Review code from peers to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective fixes.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Support and mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance system performance and developer productivity.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java (11+) development

  • Solid understanding of Spring Boot and microservices architecture

  • Strong grasp of multithreading and concurrent programming in Java

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Continuous Delivery, Clean Code, TDD, IaC, and Agile methodologies

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team


Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP

  • Familiarity with Apache Camel

  • API-first approach using OpenAPI

  • Unit Testing: Groovy, Spock

Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
