Job Title: Team Lead Golang Engineer (Confidential Cloud Platform)

We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead with strong Golang expertise to guide a team building a next-generation confidential cloud platform. This role combines deep technical work with leadership, decision-making, and driving engineering excellence in a highly complex, security-focused domain.

If you enjoy solving hard systems-level problems, mentoring engineers, shaping architecture, and owning delivery end-to-end, this position offers both impact and ownership.

About the Project

You will lead the development of a full-stack confidential cloud solution powered by OpenStack and modern confidential computing technologies (Intel TDX/SGX, AMD SEV).

The platform ensures workloads stay encrypted at rest, in transit, and even during execution -enabling true zero-trust computing for highly regulated industries.

Your leadership will shape:

  • Core architecture decisions

  • Backend and system services

  • Security and attestation mechanisms

  • Development workflows and engineering culture

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Ownership

  • Lead a team of backend/system engineers: planning, mentoring, code quality oversight

  • Drive architecture discussions, technical direction, and long-term engineering strategy

  • Set coding standards, enforce best practices, and ensure secure-by-design development

  • Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and security teams to align priorities


Technical Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Go microservices, system daemons, and REST/gRPC APIs

  • Build and operate automation for deployment, monitoring, upgrades, and scaling

  • Integrate with OpenStack components (Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance)

  • Build observability and compliance layers (metrics, logs, tracing, attestation)

  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimizations

  • Write clean, secure, well-tested code (unit, integration, and security tests)

Required Experience

  • Strong expertise in Golang (concurrency, performance, service design)

  • Experience leading engineers: mentorship, code ownership, delivery management

  • Practical experience with OpenStack services and APIs

  • Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, routing, VLAN/VPC, security groups

  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

  • Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive a team toward technical clarity

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Horizon or Skyline dashboards

  • Knowledge of confidential computing, TEEs, attestation, TPM/vTPM

  • Experience with Python (OpenStack ecosystem) or Rust

  • Understanding of observability standards (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
