As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.The Data Lineage team develops automated lineage harvesting and an API and UI to track and visualize the transformations on data assets that customers host in BigQuery and other locations. Lineage is a key enabler for business users and data engineers to discover relevant data assets, resolve data incidents, forecast the impact of changes, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (in particular with respect to machine learning (ML) models).Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry.
