Senior Java Developer / Application ArchitectWarsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days/week in the office)As a Senior Java Developer / Application Architect, you will be working for our client, a company focused on developing and optimizing cloud-based applications that support diverse business operations. You will combine hands-on development with architectural leadership, ensuring that applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide technical decisions, implement robust solutions using modern frameworks, and foster continuous improvement in software quality, coding standards, and engineering practices to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.Your main responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of application components using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutionsDrive architectural improvements and contribute to long-term solution designsCollaborate with developers, product owners, and internal customers to refine requirements and shape technical decisionsMentor team members in software engineering best practices and clean architecture principlesImplement and maintain cloud-native applications and containerized solutions (e.g., Docker, Azure)Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure continuous delivery and high-quality softwareEvaluate and improve code quality, performance, and security across applicationsYou're ideal for this role if you have:4+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot in developing robust, scalable applications4+ years of experience with architectural design patterns, distributed systems, and API design4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and container technologies (Docker)4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to lead technical discussions and mentor team members effectivelyExperience with database design and implementationAutonomous, structured, and quality-focused work approachExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal), German is a plusCustomer-oriented mindset with focus on reliability and innovationWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
