The team focuses on building next-generation video and AI solutions that power connected devices, enhancing safety, usability, and user experience worldwide. As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll be part of an R&D team working on cutting-edge vision systems, developing and deploying machine learning models that run in real time on edge devices.


Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement deep learning models for detection, tracking, and video analytics

  • Build efficient training pipelines using labelled and large-scale unlabelled datasets

  • Optimize models for edge deployment (quantization, pruning, distillation) to ensure real-time performance

  • Write clean, production-quality Python code with tests and maintainable structure

  • Debug and resolve ML issues (e.g., loss calculation, gradient, convergence, or performance bottlenecks)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional hardware/software teams to bring models from research to production


Ideal candidate profile

  • 3+ years of experience in computer vision or deep learning engineering

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of PyTorch for computer vision tasks (CNNs, Transformers, representation learning)

  • Experience with model exporting standards (ONNX, TensorRT) and optimization for resource-constrained devices

  • Familiarity with video processing pipelines and large-scale dataset handling

  • Strong Python programming skills with solid software engineering practices (modular code, refactoring, testing, Git)

  • Experience in semi-supervised/transfer learning or active learning for limited labelled datasets

  • Nice to have: C++, embedded/edge AI deployments, distributed training, contributions to research or open-source projects


Conditions

  • Work model: hybrid in Gdańsk (3 days per week)

  • Salary: 150 - 250 pln/h (depends on your experience)
