Join us, and strengthen global cloud security across multiple platformsKraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)As a Cloud Security SME you will be working for our client, a major global financial institution undertaking a large-scale cloud security transformation programme. You will be contributing to a critical initiative focused on evaluating and enhancing cryptography-related controls across multiple cloud platforms. The project is aiming to assess the current maturity of security measures by analysing existing configurations, identifying gaps, and supporting testing activities essential for strengthening secure cloud adoption. You will be collaborating with technical teams, cybersecurity specialists, and stakeholders to ensure robust and compliant security practices across diverse cloud environments.Your main responsibilities:Conducting gap analysis of cryptography controls across multiple cloud platformsAssessing existing cloud security configurations and identifying required improvementsContributing to planning and execution of control testing activitiesReviewing and deconstructing technical documentation, processes and proceduresCreating and configuring cryptography-associated controls in supported cloud environmentsSupporting the development of test plans, test cases and traceability matricesGathering and documenting test evidence and progress throughout the testing lifecycleCollaborating with cybersecurity and cloud engineering teams to validate findingsEvaluating maturity levels of implemented cloud controlsEngaging with stakeholders to communicate insights and technical outcomesYou're ideal for this role if you have:In-depth understanding of cryptography and associated controls across at least two major cloud platformsHands-on experience creating and configuring cloud cryptography controlsStrong knowledge of federated account models in cloud environmentsRobust understanding of cryptography tooling and related technologiesProven ability to review, interpret and analyse technical documentationExperience contributing to structured testing lifecycles and producing related artefactsBackground in cybersecurity and secure cloud practicesAbility to work with large-scale cloud environments and complex security frameworksStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetConfident communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholdersIt is a strong plus if you have:Experience working in financial servicesFamiliarity with Alibaba Cloud security capabilitiesExposure to cloud compliance and regulatory requirementsExperience collaborating with globally distributed teams
