At Pretius, we are looking for an Tech Lead C++ to a project in the financial industry, international team.


Project / Role

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex, high-performance software features.

  • Mentor and guide team members, accelerating their technical growth and ensuring high productivity.

  • Act as a technical authority, driving architectural and design discussions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional groups including Product, QA, DevOps and other engineering teams.

  • Ensure high-quality coding standards, performance optimization, and robust multithreaded solutions.

  • Drive improvements in development workflow, code quality, and system reliability.

  • Take initiative in exploring and adopting new technologies across the team’s tech stack.


Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on C++ development experience (modern C++ preferred).

  • Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and experience developing in a Linux environment (user level).

  • Proven experience delivering complex, production-level features end-to-end.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and step beyond comfort zones (including Python, AWS, Go).


Nice to have:

  • Experience with Go and/or Python and with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible).

  • Familiarity with cloud-native development and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Experience building applications in cloud/SaaS environments, especially AWS serverless architectures.

  • Experience in fullstack development, including REST APIs and modern frontend technologies.
