SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant

We are seeking a talented SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant to join our team at a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing and high-tech innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions to create interactive dashboards, stories, and applications for advanced business insights
• Build and manage data models in SAC, including live and acquired connections to various data sources (SAP and non-SAP systems)
• Integrate SAC with other SAP systems such as SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere, ensuring seamless data flow for real-time and batch reporting needs
• Collaborate with backend teams to build data pipelines and ensure alignment between SAC reporting requirements and underlying data structures
• Develop scalable data workflows in SAP systems to support advanced analytics, KPI tracking, and operational reporting needs
• Enable advanced SAC features such as Smart Predict, Smart Insights, and Planning Scenarios to add value to business processes
• Maintain and enhance data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to ensure high usability, performance, and business relevance
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies in SAC reports by addressing issues in data connections, models, or calculations
• Optimize SAC reports and dashboards for performance and scalability across large datasets and complex calculations
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and solution architects, to gather requirements and deliver insights-driven solutions
• Work in Agile (SAFe) environments, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP Analytics experience, with at least 2+ years specific to SAC development
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including dashboard creation, data modeling, visualization, and advanced analytics features
• Proficiency in integrating SAC with SAP systems (e.g., SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere) and non-SAP systems via live and acquired data connections
• Knowledge of SAC planning capabilities (e.g., Input Tasks, Allocations, Value Drivers, Predictive Planning)
• Expertise in backend data preparation, including SAP BW/4HANA objects (InfoObjects, DSOs, Queries) and SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views, SQLScript)
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines for SAC reporting, integrating data from SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other sources
• Strong understanding of data architecture concepts and the ability to optimize reporting performance in SAC across large datasets
• Familiarity with advanced SAC features such as Smart Discovery, Smart Insights, and Predictive Scenarios is a plus
• Experience with data visualization principles and designing intuitive reports and dashboards for end users
• Solid foundation in integrating SAC with SAP Cloud Platform (BTP) and other cloud-based solutions
• Hands-on experience with Agile collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality analytic solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Bonus: Experience with manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain analytics as it relates to KPI tracking and optimization

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with SAC Administration Tasks (e.g., roles, security, tenant configuration)
• Working knowledge of other visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for comparison and integration purposes
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud predictive capabilities, such as automated forecasting and predictive modeling
