SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)/QA EngineerKrakow or Warsaw: Hybrid, 3 days p/w in officeB2B Contract: 6 months (with possible extensions) We are looking for a SDET/QA Engineer to work with a leading financial services company in Poland. This role will see you working on an award-winning digital platform enabling the rapid delivery of innovative technologies, impacting over 2 million users. What You’ll DoDefine and implement testing strategies to ensure full coverage across platformsDevelop scalable test automation for API and UICreate test automation with Python, and testing backend services and proxiesPlan and execute performance testing, and incorporate performance testing into CI/CD workflowsOptimise performance and reliability for hybrid (on-prem/cloud) applicationsManage and maintain large-scale test data across projectsEnhance monitoring and alerting through automated checksCollaborate with developers, SREs, and security teams to embed quality and observabilityMentor team members in automation, AI-driven testing, and performance engineering What We’re Looking For7+ years' experience in test automationHeavily experienced in testing primarily with Python, as well as JavaExperienced in Functional Testing – API, UIExperience creating and running API tests in JavaEnvironment: ideally experienced working on platforms in banks/financial services, but open to experience with platforms in other domainsBasic knowledge of Shell scripting for CI/CDBasic knowledge of networking: HTTP/s protocols, reverse proxy and load balancersExperienced with frameworks such as: Pytest, JUnit/TestNG, and/or RestAssured Why Apply?Join a high-performing team at the heart of investment banking technologyJoin a crucial team responsible for impacting an award-winning digital platformOpportunity to work with modern technologies and frameworksHybrid flexibility – typically 3 days in office, with flexibility around hours (later start/later finish).Clear, efficient 2-stage interview process.
