Your expertise will be crucial in launching new IaaS and PaaS services as well as onboarding new customers.As a Solution Architect for shared and private cloud environments, you will take ownership of solution design and delivery across all project phases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and operations teams, to ensure the successful implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-effective shared-private cloud solutions. Your expertise in cloud platforms such as VMware, KVM, or Kubernetes is essential for driving innovation and ensuring alignment with business objectives.Your responsibilitiesSupporting the Deutsche Telekom B2B Europe's central cloud and data center team in a presales and solution architect roleImproving the design and implementation of data center solutions that align with business goals across nine EU countries (with a particular focus on Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and also with Greece, Croatia, Hungary) which means the opportunity of regional work at ca. 25-50% of the time (incl. travels), with the remaining time dedicated to domestic tasksSolution Design: Manage end-to-end multitenant cloud architectures that align with business requirements and industry best practices. Ability to create proposals for customer opportunitiesImplementation Oversight: Lead the deployment of multitenant cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and timelinesTechnical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams during development, testing, and deployment phases and manage external solution partnersStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technology solutionsPerformance Optimization: Monitor customer cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and recommend improvementsInnovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies in cloud computing and propose enhancements to existing solutionsSupporting the overall commercial and technical development of Cloud solutions and standard IaaS/PaaS service modelsCollaborating with the sales departments in supporting new opportunitiesOur requirementsExpertise in cloud platforms such as VMware, KVM, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or equivalentStrong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, KVM)Familiarity with computing concepts and storage solutions (including Software Defined Storage)Experience with security frameworks for cloud environments (e.g., ISO 27001 compliance)Understanding of shared multitenant cloud architecture, including models such as data isolation and segregation, ensuring efficient resource utilization while maintaining tenant privacy and securityFamiliarity with containerization technologiesStrong analytical skills for evaluating technical challenges and proposing effective solutionsExcellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders including clients, technical teams, and managementLeadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams and drive project successProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
