Back-end Software Engineer

We are looking for a Back-end Software Engineer in CE Data Foundation team.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and implements data pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data to Databricks backend.
- Assembles large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Partners with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints.
- Leverages coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components.
- Provides L3 support for developed products (bug fixing)
Job Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Pyspark for data processing and transformation.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks, including cluster management, notebook development, and job scheduling.
- Proficiency in Airflow for workflow management and orchestration of data pipelines.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes using Pyspark, Databricks, and Airflow.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling techniques.
- Understanding of data integration patterns, data lakes, and data quality best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform, Google Cloud Platform will be a plus.
