Project description: The project involves the construction of a new greenfield drug product manufacturing facility. The initiative aims to establish a state-of-the-art, highly automated production environment aligned with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Role overview: We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in industrial automation within the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of automation-related activities within the Apollo greenfield factory project. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, construction, and validation teams to ensure timely delivery and technical compliance of all control systems.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage automation project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate activities between engineering, construction, commissioning, and quality teams.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and relevant regulatory standards.

  • Oversee integration of control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and ensure alignment with global automation strategy.

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Communicate project progress to key stakeholders and management teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (min. 6 years) in automation project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

  • Solid understanding of industrial control systems and automation architectures.

  • Experience with greenfield or brownfield projects is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in cross-functional environments.

  • Fluent English (both written and spoken).
