Do you want to take the lead on helping our team define what good data products and delivery flows look like? If so, we want you to join our team as a Senior Data EngineerThe PositionAs our new Data Engineer, you will support the development and professionalisation of our data foundation in the PS Sustainability team, monitoring and reporting sustainability metrics across all of Product Supply, Quality, and IT (PSQIT).Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows.Utilize Databricks to build scalable data solutions and optimize performance.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data engineering processes.Ensure adherence to best practices and Ways of Working.Establish and promote best practices for version control using git.Collaborate with the PS Sustainability team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies.Key RequirementsStrong proficiency with Databricks.Extensive experience with git and managing version control.Proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts.Domain leadership experience to mentor and guide team members.Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Fluency in English.Willingness to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, on a need basis.Nice to HaveExperience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).Experience with Fabric, particularly Power BI.Experience with no-code and low-code tools, such as Alteryx.Other DetailsThis position operates in an agile setup within a small department undergoing significant change, making it ideal for those who seek to take responsibility in developing and improving data products.
