Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Vestas Quality > SQD Quality > Supplier Quality & Development NCE

This role is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas NCE region, overseeing SQ&D activities and ensuring the highest focus on quality, safety, and the environment during the development and delivery of different category strategies while upholding Vestas's standards and processes. The primary responsibility is to strategically and operationally develop key suppliers in the NCE region by conducting audits, supplier assessments, and leading QSE improvement projects to enhance supplier performance, prevent incidents, and reduce non-conformities.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will implement the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy for external suppliers under the Indirect category - Service. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating supplier quality, capability, and performance topics in line with regional & global strategy
  • Implementing new market entry and onboarding strategies for new suppliers, ensuring compliance with Vestas processes
  • Securing agreements with the regional QHSE & Construction team to complete supplier improvement activities
  • Guiding QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers according to Vestas requirements
  • Organizing Supplier Business Review Meetings with cross-functional participation
  • Developing and executing supplier development projects and local initiatives
  • Preparing and presenting executive reports for QHSE audits

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in similar positions involving supplier management with a focus on safety & quality
  • Experience in supplier management and leading improvement projects in quality, process, and safety
  • Prior experience in wind, mechanical/electrical manufacturing/Service business
  • Certified auditor/lead auditor in ISO and other relevant quality-safety certifications

  • Effective project management skills for complex development projects across the organization
  • Proficiency in data analytics and problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and adept at working with diverse stakeholders
  • Motivated, critical thinker with independent learning skills and the ability to deliver solutions to complex problems
  • Proficiency in English
