Secondary Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Mathematics and Science teacher for our Secondary classes for the academic year.

The teacher will have the ability to teach Key Stage 3 Mathematics. The teacher will be passionate about the subjects and be able to deliver engaging lessons within the Cambridge Math curriculum.

A strong desire to contribute to the school community by participating in our rich extra-curricular life, to be an event organizer or to fill a needed non-teaching role will be an advantage for selecting a suitable candidate for this position.

Qualifications

· A formal teaching qualification such as PGCE, BEd, MEd, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training

· BA in Mathematic or an MSc Math would be an asset

· A fluent English speaker, ideally someone who has experience delivering the KS3 Mathematics and Science (Cambridge) curriculum (though not essential).

· Capable of delivering quality instruction to pupils with mixed language levels

· Good teaching and communication skills, both written and verbal

· Flexibility

· Willingness to extend past the teaching role and assist the school in non-teaching duties or extra-curricular activities.

Short-listed candidates will be notified and will participate in an interview via ZOOM or face-to-face.
