Job Description

Our Vattenfall Client Services department is growing and we're on the lookout for a Manager specialized in Architecture & Security for Active Directory to ensure a stable and secure IT environment by promoting digital practices such as authorization, authentication, and identity security services at Vattenfall.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead technical design and strategies for Active Directory, PKI, EntraID, Federated Authentication, and VPN for the central user forest at Vattenfall, along with other Active Directory environments
  • Align and enhance Group IT Security guidelines, ensure compliance, security audits, and investigations
  • Closely collaborate with teams responsible for Active Directory operations, M365 collaboration, and EntraID, linking closely to Microsoft 365 services
  • Oversee a team of 10-15 employees across different locations: Stockholm (Sweden), Berlin (Germany), and Gliwice/Katowice (Poland)
  • Report directly to the Head of Active Directory and Collaboration

Key deliverables:

  • Design and strategize Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure, and authentication services like ADFS and EntraID
  • Ensure the security and continuous hardening of various Active Directory environments and services
  • Provide guidelines and consultation on IT-Security topics focusing on authentication, identity protection, and ITIL process coordination within the team
  • Support business projects in need of authentication and authorization services

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Demonstrate broad managerial experience in IT within a geographically distributed operation
  • High expertise in IT Infrastructure, especially in Active Directory operation, preferably with an EntraID setup
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Identity & Access management technologies and use cases
  • Ability to set strategic objectives, understand business dependencies, and drive their implementation
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with extensive work experience
  • Possess strong management, communication, and problem-solving skills to motivate and lead your team to success
  • Show autonomy, initiative, and follow-through capabilities
  • Proficiency in English is crucial for success in this role, other "Vattenfall" languages are a plus
