Job Overview

Join us as a Senior in Technology Continuity Engineering at Zendesk, where you'll lead efforts in identifying and minimizing risks that could impact our technical and business operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with diverse teams to create and uphold technology continuity plans, analyze technical vulnerabilities, and enhance the overall resilience of our technical infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities
  • Building and expanding our Global Vendor Resilience program across all vendor management areas.
  • Supporting the Continuity Exercise Program through planning, facilitation, and risk reporting.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to assess technical risks affecting business operations.
  • Developing and managing comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans for technical systems.
  • Conducting risk assessments and prioritizing recovery efforts.
  • Implementing technical controls to enhance security and reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Monitoring technical incidents to refine incident response and recovery processes.
  • Staying informed about industry trends to adapt continuity plans proactively.
  • Assisting in the development of technical procedures and best practices.
  • Providing guidance and training on continuity-related policies and procedures.
Your Qualifications
  • Prior experience in technology and business continuity planning.
  • Knowledge of vendor resilience and supply chain management.
  • Experience in conducting technology and business continuity exercises.
  • Familiarity with BCM Tools, particularly Fusion Risk Management.
  • Strong technical background in systems, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and continuity planning standards.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
