Position: Raw Materials Specialist III

Based: Łódź, Poland

Contract: 12 months

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages independently a variety of raw material related tasks related to Projects or Customers requests regarding all aspects of the product lifecycle. Understands when to involve Team Leader in these communications. Demonstrates technical expertise and credibility in role and/or function.
  • Communicates effectively by e-mail, phone and in person with internal stakeholders, external vendors of raw materials/packaging and other departments daily about various aspects of regulatory product compliance.
  • Supports Technical Functions, Product Development, Commercialization, and third-party audits for raw material product compliance queries.
  • Procedures and work instructions creation and maintenance. Develops and propose guidelines and internal procedures to improve or streamline processes.
  • Manages strategic size projects. Effectively leads multi-functional projects to address and resolve raw material issues.
  • Proactively communicates to direct supervisors on any potential changes that could improve ways of working within and outside of their primary scope of responsibilities.
  • Prepare complex data searches and WU reports in a timely manner and appropriate accuracy.
  • Provides weekly / monthly reports and / or updates the Projects to Team Leader.
  • Prepares and conducts internal raw material trainings.
  • Proactively communicates to direct supervisors on any potential changes that could improve ways of working within and outside of their primary scope of responsibilities. Perform RCA and lead process improvement implementation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 2-3 years' experience in Food Industry or similar area.
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic).
  • Food law knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Advises on raw material assessments of Product Development.
  • Internal auditing experience will be an advantage.
  • Organized, methodical, detail oriented and ability to multitask.
  • Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, with high sense of urgency.
  • Proactive and flexible approach.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across the business functions, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong Project Management Skills and Process Improvement Skills.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP).
  • Additional language: French, Spanish, Italian (or other) will be advantage.
