We are looking for a Sourcing Professional to become part of our growing and ambitious Sourcing Team. You have strong commercial acumen, great interpersonal skills and you enjoy negotiations. Knowledge of sourcing indirect services and software is an asset, but not a requirement.
This is an opportunity for you to work with Nordea's existing and future suppliers enabling Nordea to create great customer experiences. Nordea is on an ambitious journey to improve its Cost/Income ratio with high focus on initiatives within all business areas to deliver on this strategy and become the best finance partner in the Nordics.
Sourcing play a key role in this exciting and challenging journey, and you will be driving a range of sourcing projects across multiple Business Units and across a range of different categories with stakeholders at all levels. You will be working as an internal consultant in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment with colleagues across the Nordics and Poland.
Your key responsibility will be to drive variety of sourcing activities ensuring timely execution and finding innovative and more cost efficient ways of delivering banking services. We will invest heavily in your training and development enabling you to learn and grow as you build your career with us.
About this opportunity
Sourcing works closely with all Business Units within Nordea to deliver cost savings, process efficiencies and create value whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will be working as an internal consultant running sourcing activities in accordance with Nordea Procurement Policy and related guidelines as well as applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Specifically, you will drive a wide range of procurement activities including:
Driving sourcing activities to ensure that goals are achieved and all stakeholders understand their deliverables, in accordance with Nordea Procurement Policy, as well as applicable laws, rules and regulations Drafting of contracts in close cooperation with our legal experts to ensure that we reduce risks and costs while increasing the value of our contracts Preparing for and executing negotiations with suppliers Suggesting and driving improvement activities to procurement processes and tools Collaborating closely with Contract Management team and other teams/units outside of Sourcing unitThe role is based in Lodz.
