Senior Associate Software Engineer

Job Summary

Reliable internet connectivity is vital for customers to engage with their stakeholders, enabling seamless communication, collaboration, and service delivery. Equinix Internet Access aims to be a cutting-edge global solution that nurtures growth and innovation.

We are seeking a skilled product engineer (backend) to contribute significantly to the design, development, and management of our Internet Access product. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various teams, including product management, UX design, and quality assurance, to deliver top-notch software solutions.

The responsibilities of the product engineer cover discovery, development, and operations. We are looking for candidates with proven experience working in product teams. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with the product manager to understand customer requirements
  • Contributing to solution design in a microservices architecture
  • Working on cross-technical integrations
  • Evaluating and recommending the adoption of cutting-edge technologies
  • Developing scripts and code using JVM languages and stack (Java, Kotlin, Spring, Micronaut, Temporal, Hibernate)
  • Participating in code reviews and implementing standardized coding processes
  • Owning the quality of delivered solutions
  • Contributing to enhancements of our DevSecOps practices
  • Operating systems on AWS infrastructure
  • Exploring, analyzing, and assessing new technologies
