The tech team is the driving force of the world-class fintech mobile app. This product will be used by millions of people around the world. Our tech stack:

iOS: Swift 5, Xcode
Android: Android SDK, Kotlin and Java.
Backend: .NET 7/8, REST API, Azure Functions, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, xUnit.
PowerShellInfrastructure as code: Bicep, Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, Application Insights, Log Analytics Workspaces.
CI/CD: Azure DevOps pipeline as code (YAML)

Responsibilities

Further Native development and maintenance of Babb's mobile app.
Participate in the UX/UI design process, from wireframes and mockups to implementation and release.
Identify, prioritise, and carry out tasks throughout the software development life cycle.
Write high-quality, well-documented, easily legible, and thoroughly tested code.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
Perform validation and verification testing.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve the product.

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile application programming
Comprehensive knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin and Java.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Expertise with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services (experience with OpenAPI is a plus).
Understanding Dependency Injection (Dagger Hilt).
Experience and understanding of Android Jetpack Compose UI.
Familiarity working with Kotlin Coroutines, RxJava, Gradle.
Knowledge of MVP, MVVM architecture, Clean Architecture, Multimodularization.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in CS/Mathematics/Physics.
Quick learner with an ambitious and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding communication and organisational abilities.
Fluent English.

Nice to have

Experience in financial services and startup environments.
GitHub account with cool projects.
Proficiency in Blockchain, Web3 and Crypto.
Owning mobile application on Google Play Store.
