PC Expert

We are looking for a PC Expert to guide us in selecting and configuring PCs to run seamlessly with our scanners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PC hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate technical information clearly.

The position is based in Szczecin (Poland) and is within our Lifecycle and Quality team, which is part of R&D. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with local R&D engineers, engineers from our Headquarters in Denmark as well as other departments (Procurement, Product Management, Customer Care, Quality, Production).

Your role:

• assess and recommend PC solutions that meet the specific requirements for our dental scanners.
• be responsible for advising both new development projects as
• assist in-market support teams with solution of systematic failure modes
• understand and link influence of the 3td Party Software and Hardware on 3Shape solutions.
• manage communication between key stakeholders from different parts of our organization.
• communicate with hardware and software vendors.

Your profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented implementer who enjoys working in a cross functional team, and further has most of the following qualifications:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in software engineering, computer science or similar
• Extensive knowledge of PC hardware components and software applications, such as e.g.

o BIOS settings

o Battery and power settings

o GPU driver settings

o Power-hungry applications

o How the Windows images are created

o How Windows Update is configured

o Anti-virus settings

• Analytical mindset to find bugs, flaws, and defects and to identify their root causes
• It is advantage if you have experience with supporting remote customers e.g. through making test procedures to verify PC performance and find errors
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Very good English and Polish both oral and written
