Working as a Record to Report Accounting Specialist at Signify will place you in the center of a dynamically changing and inspiring environment driven by the value of greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.

We're looking for a Record to Report Accounting Specialist who'll be responsible for coordinating of the Record to Report end to end process execution and driving the process improvements in cooperation with different Finance teams.

You'll be part of the Signify Europe ARIC (Accounting, Reporting & Internal Controls Team) which is concentrated on driving the RTR processes across the European organizations and bringing added value through improvements in the daily processes, moreover closely working with the accounting transactional team.

What you'll do

• You'll be a part of the execution and compliance of all record to report processes, which include Month End Closure, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Trial Statement Review, Balance Sheet Review, and Journal Vouchers
• You'll safeguard compliance with accounting standards and regulations Signify Accounting Principles, IFRS, local GAAP, local regulations, directives
• You'll execute internal controls related to your domain in a timely and accurate manner
• You'll support audits with documentation and process descriptions a.o.
• You'll coordinate Record to Report (R2R) process execution between the business and R2R Associates.
• You'll design and implement R2R process improvements in full cooperation with relevant organizations

What you'll need

• Finance background (Master's degree minimum, ACCA or equivalent will be appreciated)
• You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization
• You have experience in working across multiple levels, functions, regions, and third parties in a manner that will professionally represent the department
• You master in end-to-end finance and accounting processes and you are familiar with the Statutory processes
• You are an excellent communicator and able to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
