Elsewhere Entertainment is seeking a talented Lead Animation Engineer to join the team working on an exciting new project. Your role will involve enhancing technology and tools to bring characters to life on the screen, collaborating closely with engineers and artists to ensure a thrilling visual experience.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Improving and maintaining animation technology.
  • Designing and implementing cutting-edge features.
  • Providing expert support and co-developing new features with content and engineering teams.
  • Mentoring junior Animation Programmers.

What makes you a great fit:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming and problem-solving skills.
  • 7+ years' experience as a C++ programmer in the game industry or related field.
  • A passion for enhancing interactive animation in games.
  • Experience with low-level game animation systems and animation topics.
  • Ability to take a leading role in projects.

Additional qualifications that are a plus:

  • Knowledge of content creation tools like Maya.
  • Experience in mentoring, hiring, or leading teams.
  • Recognition in your field of work.
  • Experience in disciplines such as design, art, or programming.
