Our client is a construction company near Rondo Daszyńskiego. They've recently set up a Shared Services Center (SSC) in Poland and are eager to expand. They're looking for ambitious individuals to join them as Accounts Payable (AP) Specialists.

Opis stanowiska

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, verifying appropriate approval, coding, and matching with purchase orders or contracts.
• Prepare and perform weekly or monthly payment runs, including electronic payments and checks, while adhering to payment terms and discounts.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and archived.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoicing and payment-related inquiries or discrepancies.
• Monitor and analyze accounts payable aging reports, identifying and escalating any overdue invoices or payment delays.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practices related to accounts payable processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining accounts payable procedures and enhancing efficiency.
• Provide support and assistance to other members of the finance team as needed.

Profil kandydata

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience working in accounts payable or similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software - nice to have MS DYnamics and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
