Support Engineer What You Should Know About This Team

With millions of daily responses and a target to expand their data platform tenfold in the coming year, Qualtrics engineers are immersed in fascinating challenges at every level. The Challenge:

  • Triage and analyze customer-reported issues
  • Investigate application code and logs to identify root causes
  • Implement fixes or provide pertinent information to application engineers
  • Design and deploy tools and reports to expedite issue resolution
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Product Management teams locally and globally
  • Spot trends in application quality and performance
  • Establish and monitor alerts based on quality and performance trends

Skills required:

  • Proficiency in code reading (e.g., Java, Node, Go)
  • Ability to interpret application logs
  • Familiarity with a scripting language (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Capable of crafting SQL queries and executing common DB tasks (data extraction, mass deletion, etc.)
  • Experience in diagnosing customer production issues
  • Background in building/managing software deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proactive problem-solving approach

Experience:

  • Prior experience in support engineering involving script and software development
