ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Vendor & Finance Master Data Senior Specialist role is to deliver best-in-class service to Wella markets across the globe through timely, accurate and efficient management of vendor, finance and intercompany master data, used in Procurement, Finance, and Account Payables.

You will join the Central Data Office (CDO) Team, who believes that when data is well-defined, efficiently created, correct, available, and trustworthy, it can power the growth of the Company. We strive to be the center of excellence around data for the major Wella global and local business functions: Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance and Procurement. We operate in three main areas: regular data operations, project management, and data governance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage end-to-end finance, vendor, and intercompany master data processes in SAP ECC and MDG.
  • Resolve tickets related to vendor master data according to Standard Level Agreements.
  • Prepare data reports and analyses using SAP, MS Excel and other internal tools.
  • Analyze issues reported through tickets, define their root-causes, propose solutions, and drive action plans.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure data is compliant with the global standards and execute data cleansing activities.
  • Proactively escalate business risks related to process and system gaps.
  • Challenge existing processes and propose improvements to drive efficiency.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Share knowledge on MD standards with peers and various business functions, and provide trainings as required.
  • Support global projects by active participation in the phases of gathering requirements, testing & hypercare.
  • Closely cooperate with other workstreams: Procurement, Finance, Account Payables, IT.
  • Support future transition activities connected with team scope changes.

  • University degree in Finance/Accounting/other related subject or min. 1 year of equivalent experience in Finance, Vendor, or Customer Master Data management
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Good practical knowledge of MS Excel, and basic experience with MS Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
