Senior Business Data Analyst

Your responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Management: Conduct in-depth analysis of business data, identify trends, and support solving complex problems by collecting, combining, and processing data from various sources.
  • Support for Business Processes: Collaborate with business departments to understand their needs, define requirements, and design solutions that support key business operations.
  • Report Creation and Data Visualization: Prepare customized data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot to support strategic decision-making.
  • Data Modeling and Process Optimization: Develop data models and improve analytical processes to enhance operational efficiency and make better use of resources.
  • Improving Communication: Ensure effective communication between technical and business teams by organizing workshops, presentations, and translating complex technical topics into understandable business language.

Our requirements

  • Strong expertise in data analysis and exploration.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to quickly adapt to new industry domains.
  • Experience in gathering and managing functional requirements.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and designing business workflows.
  • Solid understanding of business and data frameworks (familiarity with tools like SAP or similar systems is advantageous).
  • Capability to address data-related business inquiries effectively.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, combining, and managing datasets (working knowledge of platforms like Snowflake is preferred).
  • Competency in presenting data through suitable tools and formats (e.g., Tableau, Thoughtspot).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in conducting workshops and ensuring user-centric approaches.
  • Experience in developing data models.
  • Basic knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks and Python for advanced data tasks.
